Katie developed the Marra Method™ because she needed it for herself.

As a professional athlete, ministry leader, and entrepreneur, she found herself burned out, injured, and in a body that felt like a war zone.

Even worse, all her “success” felt like someone else’s vision for her life. She found herself awake at 2AM, terrified that she’d spend the rest of her life never really knowing who she was or what she actually wanted.

Her body knew before her mind did. As she started intuitive movement and releasing old traumas and programming, she found that her symptoms healed themselves. Now she actually wakes up excited for life, and joy is not something she has to wait for on her next vacation.

Since then, Katie has walked hundreds of women all over the world through the Marra Method™.

We'll begin by connecting to your body through gentle movement.

Using the sensations you experience, you’ll learn to decode your symptoms as messages—and how to release the energy creating tightness and pain.

As we regulate your nervous system, release pent up emotion, and begin to go deeper into what your body is really holding, you’ll find lightness and clarity.

Many women leave feeling more at peace and connected than they have in years.

FAQs

Is this therapy?

This is body-based work that often complements therapy beautifully, but it's not a replacement. I'm not diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. Together, we teach your body that it's safe to feel what it's been holding, decode the sensations to find the root, and begin to release it.


Do I need to be flexible or in shape?

Not even a little. The Marra Method™ isn't a workout. We move at the pace your body sets. Whether you've never exercised or you're already training five days a week, your body will get what it needs from this work.


What if I cry, feel overwhelmed, or a wave of emotion comes up?

You might. Many women do, especially their first session. Your nervous system has been holding a lot, and this work gives it permission to release. I'll hold the space. Nothing you feel here is too much, and nothing needs to be managed. I actually encourage you to feel whatever it is that comes up.


I’m worried about the spiritual side of this practice…

Katie developed this method with Biblical backing and deep connection to God. That being said, she believes that God meets everyone where they are at: regardless of their faith or background. There is no requirement for specific belief systems, just an openness to connect to something bigger than yourself.


Is one session enough?

Many women feel a shift after a single session to feel lighter, clearer, more connected to themselves. But this work compounds. What opens in one session is what the next session builds on. Most women I work with book a series or a package rather than coming once, or opt for a full mentorship experience.


What should I wear/bring?

Whatever lets your body move freely. A mat or floor space, a water bottle, and something soft to cover you during integration. That's it.
