I’m Katie, creator of the Marra Method™:

Marra began as an attempt for me to find myself again, on a yoga mat in my living room, six months after my body finally refused to keep performing.

I was 28. Professional beach volleyball athlete. Ministry leader. Coach. PhD student in Quantum Healing.

On the outside I looked like someone who had it together, but I was gaining weight I couldn't explain, battling injuries that wouldn't heal, watching my marriage fall apart, and staring in the mirror at a puffy face and graying hair I didn't recognize.

My body was screaming, I just didn't know how to listen yet.

And worse: I was laying awake at night with this terrifying feeling that if I didn’t change something, I would never become the person that I knew I was designed to be.

Enter: six months of soul-searching on a yoga mat.

What happened over those six months changed everything:

Movement began unlocking memories, releasing trauma, and healing things that years of high performance and ministry and achievement had buried so deep I'd forgotten they were there.

I discovered that my stress fracture—the injury that wouldn't heal no matter what I did—was rooted in shame about moving forward. I moved through it. Spoke truth over it. And thirty minutes later the pain was gone.

I radically uprooted my limiting beliefs, changed how I saw myself, and found clarity about how much of my life was built on programming, and what it was that I actually wanted.

I combined my decade of experience as a personal trainer and bodyworker with the energetic principles I was learning through my PhD program, and began to practice it in hundreds of sessions with people all over the world who came in exhausted and dysregulated and left knowing themselves again.

This method does more than heal bodies. It unlocks what's been hiding in the subconscious, and gives you back the clarity and confidence to build a life that actually feels like yours.
