The Marra Method™ Instructor Certification is a professional training program that equips movement facilitators with the skills, ethics, and standards of the method.
Completion of certification qualifies graduates to apply for salaried instructor positions within Marra Movement or to contribute as contracted facilitators within our ecosystem.

Marra practitioners learn the one-of-a-kind method that guides clients to release emotion and survival energy in the body, rewire blocks that are keeping them from authentically being themselves, and reconnect them with a life that actually feels like theirs.
Our facilitators are deeply connected, committed, and trained.
We don’t teach something we don’t live. The method works because our facilitators have walked through it. Before becoming a facilitator, it is required that you have undergone the 3 or 6 month Alignment Mentorship.
The Process:
Step 1: Application
Because we work in such deep, sacred places, every facilitator is personally vetted to ensure they would be the perfect fit for both our community of facilitators and the clients they want to serve.
Application includes a written application and a application call with a mentor.
Only four facilitators are trained each year to ensure each one has the mentorship they need to succeed.
Step 2: Self-Guided Learning
Once you’re accepted, you’ll be mailed the learning materials, as well as gain access through a video course and online testing. The e-learning opens March 1.
Through these materials and team study sessions, you’ll learn the basics of physical and energetic anatomy, nervous system regulation, movement practices, and how to walk groups and solo clients through their transformational journey.
You’ll have access to a mentor throughout your journey who can help direct, answer questions, and get you ready for graduation.
Step 3: In-Person Certification
Four days of learning, practicing, and actually using all the knowledge you’ve studied. You’ll be tested in group settings and with a private client to ensure you feel confident and capable to start taking your own clients.
Graduation will be determined by mentors on the retreat. This retreat is required for becoming certified.
What’s Included in Your Facilitator Program:
Learning Materials
You’ll receive a physical copy of the Marra Method Facilitators Manual and the Body Atlas, your guide to the mapping the body sensations.
Online Coursework
You’ll have video coursework and testing to pair with your book learning, to ensure you deeply understand the body, its energetic system, and how to facilitate natural healing.
Group Learning
Group learning sessions will be available monthly - these are at will sessions, and are not required to complete coursework.
1-1 Mentorship Access
You’ll have access to a mentor through monthly check ins to ensure you are on track to graduate.
Graduation Immersion Weekend
You’ll get to experience what a somatic immersion really is like. A full experience of a 4 day stay in Florida, curated meals, Marra movement sessions, and transformational experiences. This is the weekend that solidifies your new identity as a leader.
This stay is included in your program, including meals, experiences, and transportation to/from the local airport. Airfare is not included.
*please note, this weekend is required for your certification as a Marra Facilitator. Certification is dependent on passing written tests and in person performance teaching group and private sessions. Your certification will be granted at the discretion of mentors attending the retreat.
